Auditions are April 10th 7:00-9:00 pm and April 11th 2:00-4:00 pm

Location: 2740 Upton Ave, Toledo, OH 43606

Rehearsals: 7-9/9:30pm 2-3 times a week depending on who is cast (weekends again depend on cast choice)

Calendar will be made available for any conflicts

Show dates are July 10-12, 2026 (NO intermission)

Casting will be non-traditional. People of all ethnicities strongly encouraged to audition. Only ages must be appropriate for each generation spoken about in the text. Would love a 1-minute monologue but not required. Please be familiar with the show before auditions. Sides will be provided and available prior to auditions, see link below.

JESSE- late 30’s/early 40’s – solitary person but didn’t used to be. Quirky sense of humor. Familiarity between her and her mom as they have lived together for a long time. Has son in late teens/early 20’s.

THELMA – Jesse’s mother- late 50’s/early 60’s – has begun to feel her age and takes it easy when she can or when it serves her purposes to LET someone help her. She likes talking. Believes things ARE the way she says they are. She’s chatty, nosy, and this is HER house.
